Report a Leak

To report a gas leak, call our 24/7 emergency dispatch center at (727) 462-6633. Here are some helpful tips for suspected gas leaks.

Gas and Storm Safety

As your community energy provider, CGS Energy is committed to maintaining the highest safety standard possible.

Excess Flow Valves

An EFV is a mechanical safety device that is installed inside a natural gas distribution service line between the street and residential meter. Excess flow valves are primarily designed so that general usage, such as turning on appliances, will not trigger the valve to close.

Customer-Owned Gas Piping: Things To Know
